Since 1965, IDE has led the desalination industry with ongoing breakthroughs in the areas of technology, project size and complexity, enabling it to continually drive down the cost of desalinated water. To date, the company has deployed over 400 desalination plants of increasing size and complexity throughout the world, including the majority of its mega-sized SWRO (Sea Water Reverse Osmosis) plants.
