Development Driven Sales Director- Americas

Job Description:

  • Identify potential development driven leads and\ or support the sales team in the development of such leads – identify and support screening
  • Follow the pipeline of development opportunities: work closely with the developers and secure IDE’s interests in the process up to closing.
  • Support the risk assessment process related to such projects
  • Guide the company sales team through the process and steps of the development activities
  • Support the legal engagement process – participate and lead contractual engagements

Job Requirements:

  • Formal Education
    • Commercial legal degree or Business degree
    • Masters degree in Business Administration- advantage
    • Background and Education in Engineering – an advantage
  •  Experience
    • At least 7 years experience in development work as an investor or legal management of Energy related projects or water related projects in the US
    • Background working for \ with foreign company – an advantage
  • General Skills
    • People person – Excellent communication and interface skills
    • Organized and methodological
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Capable of working in a multi-culture environment and time-zones.
    • Willing to travel in the US and occasionally to Israel.
    • Based on San Diego area (up to 1.5 hours distance).

Reporting to: VP Sales & Marketing North and Latin America

PA to VP Sales & Marketing of the Americas and Sales and Marketing Operation 


  • Assist VP Sales and Marketing in managing the Sales and Marketing activities in the Americas:
    • Meeting coordination and schedule management
    • Decision FU and implementation
    • Administrative reports and HR tasks
    • Preparation of presentations
  • Office Management:
    • Meeting coordination and schedule management for IDE America, CEO
    • Manage office supplies, USPS, FedEx, ATT accounts
  • Sales and Marketing Operation:
    • Screen leads and assign to the sales team
    • Assist in coordinating sales activities with IL office
    • Support sales team with travel arrangements (flights and accommodation)
    • Support execution and development of regional marketing activity
    • Help plan and coordinate conference activities, community outreach, and events, including preparing presentations
    • Support proposal preparation process 
    • Any other duties as might be assigned to support the Company sales activities 
    • Other activities  and duties as assigned by the direct manager


  • B.A. Degree or equivalent from an accredited Institution or University; advantage to BA in business management
  • 2-3 years’ experience in similar positions
  • Language skills (verbal, written and reading – high level): 
    • Hebrew –  an advantage, 
    • Spanish – an advantage

Solutions Manager America

Job Description:

  • In charge of the sale cycle of advance water treatment projects [3M$-100M$] in Americas – from initial phase up to closing throughout the whole cycle
  • Responsibility for developing technical and commercial proposals in compliance with customer’s specifications
  • Managing the proposals in accordance with customer requirements, daily interface with process, engineering, and costing departments, Commercial \ legal department, finance, and management.
  • Participate in marketing activities in the region

Job Requirements:

  • Bsc. in the field of mechanical/Industrial/chemical engineering
  • MBA in Business and advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in water treatment, desalination, infrastructure and\or
  • 3-5 years’ experience in project management of infrastructure projects  and\or
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales activity abroad, in water or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in responding to complex tenders
  • Experience in technical and commercial negotiations
  • English (mother tongue level), Hebrew,
    • Spanish- Significant  advantage
  • Frequent traveling abroad (every month)
