IDE is proud to sponsor and present at the 4th Latin American Congress on Desalination and Water Reuse, taking place October 15-17 in Santiago, Chile.
At the event, Fredi Lokiec, Executive VP Special Projects at IDE, will present a paper on the Sorek Project, the world’s largest and most advanced SWRO desalination plant. The presentation will look at the business structure and some of the many technological features of the Sorek Project, which include the financing, design, construction, operation and transfer of a mega-size seawater desalination facility.
In addition Ruben Muñoz of IDE Chile will present a paper on an SWRO desalination plant in Gujarat, India designed to provide pure processed water at one of India’s largest oil refineries. The paper takes a detailed look at the requirements and basis of design to address the complex feed water conditions.
