IDE's industrial Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solutions excel in energy efficiency and are friendly to the environment.

In creating its unique ZLD solutions, IDE has leveraged the technological expertise and plant-building know-how gained through its experience in the areas of desalination, water treatment and wastewater treatment. This has enabled IDE to develop a unique concentrator for brines, even those containing hard scale-forming compounds.

IDE's Heavy Duty Evaporator (HDE) units are designed for Oil & Gas industries, chemical processing companies and a wide range of highly polluted industrial effluents. These units are an exceedingly cost effective solution for the treatment of waste-water problems, particularly in installations where zero discharge of liquids is required.

IDE offers two types of HDEs: Mechanical Vapor Compression Heavy Duty Evaporator (MVC HDE), electrically driven. Thermal Vapor Compression Heavy Duty Evaporator (TVC HDE), motivated by low pressure steam.
